From first call to first page of Google.

Every engagement follows the same five-phase arc: discovery, strategy, build, launch, grow. The scope changes. The rigor doesn't.

A note before we start

Every project is different. The process isn't.

Whether we're building a new site, rescuing an existing one, or running an SEO engagement, the arc is the same: understand the business, research the landscape, make a plan, execute carefully, measure the impact, and refine. The details change. The rigor doesn't.

The phases

From first call to first page of Google.

01

Discovery & Audit

We start with a call. I want to know what your business actually does, who your ideal customer is, what's working, and what's genuinely frustrating you about your current setup. Then I dig in — technical audit of your site, competitor analysis, keyword landscape, and anything else relevant to the work.

Deliverable: A written audit and clear recommendation. You keep this whether or not we work together.

Week 1
02

Strategy & Sitemap

Before anything gets designed, we agree on what the site is trying to accomplish. Every page gets a purpose, a target query, and a conversion goal. No pages for pages' sake — every URL earns its place on the sitemap.

Deliverable: Sitemap, keyword map, content outline, and a design direction document.

Week 2
03

Design & Build

Design and development happen in tandem. You review real pages in a staging environment, not static mockups — so you see how things actually look, feel, and scroll. Feedback is iterative and rolling. No big reveal, no dramatic reworks at the 11th hour.

Deliverable: A staging site you can review, click through, and share with your team.

Weeks 3–5
04

Launch & Indexing

Launch day is the boring part — when I've done my job right. Redirects mapped, schema in place, sitemap submitted, Search Console and analytics verified, SSL and DNS sanity-checked. The new site goes live and Google immediately understands it.

Deliverable: A live, indexed, analytics-tracking site — plus a short training session so you know how to run it.

Week 6
05

Grow & Refine

Optional, but strongly recommended. A new site is a starting line, not a finish line. Monthly retainers cover ongoing SEO, performance monitoring, content additions, A/B improvements, and the steady stream of small refinements that compound into serious rankings over the long haul.

Deliverable: Monthly progress reports in plain English, plus the work itself.
